Victorian Day

Key Stage 2 took part in a Victorian Day in school on Monday 16th November 2009 with dhildren and staff dressed in Victorian clothes.

Pupils began the day with bible reading before going on to try copperplate handwriting with ink pens or chalk on boards, followed by a recital of times tables. A physical education session was held outside in the bracing November wind and unfortunately during the day several naughty children were sent to stand in the corner!

Summer 2009 Celebration

The Summer Celebration was held on Tuesday 14th July. As well as a wonderful performance of extracts from The Pirates of Penzance, school orchestra recitals and demonstrations of Maypole and country dancing, we also marked the occasion of Headteacher Mrs Anthea Pearson's retirement.
