Singing

Singing is also enjoyed regularly by all children and the school has recently joined the national “Sing Up” scheme. The aim of the Sing Up scheme, which was launched by the Government last year, is to ensure that every primary school aged child has the opportunity to experience high quality singing as part of their everyday lives in the school, the home and the wider community.

Performance

Past productions include a performance of the musical “Joseph and his Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat” and all children have been involved in a performances of traditional English singing as well as Morris and maypole dancing.

A production of The Pirates of Penzance was performed as part of the Summer 2009 celebrations.
